About Dr. Rachel L. Ivory
Dr. Rachel L. Ivory is the Founder and CEO of Ivory Publishing® and the author of the 22-book I Want To Be… children's career-exploration series for readers ages 9–14. She is also the creator of The Yourself Series Guides, a collection of personal-growth journals for teens and adults.
A U.S. Army veteran with a doctorate in Public Policy and Public Administration, Dr. Ivory brings a lifetime of public-service and leadership experience to her work as an author and publisher. Her mission is rooted in literacy, career exploration, and helping children see the full range of possibilities for their futures. Dr. Ivory is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and a 2025 honoree of Marquis Who's Who and Continental Who's Who.
